Our home-brewed kombucha is tended to with the utmost care and made with premium organic ingredients. We use only US certified organic and certified fair trade premium teas. We add certified vegan white sugar grown and harvested in the US, certified CarbonFree® by such practices as using left over sugarcane fiber to power sugar operations. We steep with pure distilled water reinvigorated through exposure to the sun for several hours after distillation.
We brew our kombucha in a continuous fermentation process that provides the greatest amount of beneficial vitamins and minerals. Other brands use a second-stage fermentation to increase the fizziness, at the expense of the benefits of drinking a fresh brew.
Our kombucha is crafted in a plastic-free zone. Only glass brew containers with specially sourced food-grade stainless steel taps are used. All brewing utensils are either glass or stainless steel. The brew itself is stored in glass jugs.
Kombucha, unlike beer, is fermented in open (but filtered) containers so it does not develop alcohol content. A tiny amount of alcohol can occur during a closed second-stage fermentation process, but since ours is fresh brewed in a continuous process you don't have to worry about that.
Kombucha, like beer, can be an acquired taste for some. If you've tried other store available brands or even other home brews and thought "This is not for me...", we invite you to give ours a try.
